I am Anay Mohan Shembekar, a Ph.D. Scholar and recipient of the esteemed Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Working in the Computational Wave Mechanics Lab under Prof. S. Gopalakrishnan, my research focuses on developing multiscale computational frameworks for elastic wave propagation in engineering materials. I specialize in methods like the Quasicontinuum Method and the Spectral Finite Element Method, aiming to create advanced models with reduced computational costs and integrated uncertainty quantification.
